Play Therapy

Play Therapy provides for children what talk therapy provides for adults, the difference is children use play as their means of expression when processing difficult emotions and  experiences.

About Carly

I love to work with children (12 and under), and early teens (13-19), to provide a therapeutic process that draws forth each client's inner-strength and resilience.

Carly is an amazing play therapist who has helped our family heal and grow closer. She is great with our 4 year old as well as with our 10 year old.

My Experience

Includes working with children and adolescents who struggle with most emotional and behavioral difficulties including:

  • Outbursts

  • Anxiety
  • Hyper-arousal
  • Stress
  • Depression

I have also helped individuals work through a variety of circumstances:

  • Life transitions
  • Social struggles
  • Family difficulties including divorce
  • Trauma (including physical and sexual trauma)

I use techniques that empower young clients to explore who they are, and what they have experienced. In discovering their own strength and resilience, they find healing and freedom to embrace the full potential of who they are and what they are capable of.
